A 2015 Ford Transit full-size van has joined the cast of The History Channel’s American Pickers show as the wheels that will enable series stars Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and Danielle Colby Cushman to travel about the United States in ther quest to uncover antiques worthy of restoration and resale.
American Pickers is fielding the largest Transit model offered by Ford. The show’s van is powered by a Ford 3.2L Power Stroke diesel.
“The biggest thing is, when the van is full, we’ve got to come home,” said Wolfe.
“There were four or five different vehicles I was looking at, and I just keep coming back to the Ford as the better choice,” he noted.
