Love’s opens travel stop in Illinois, offers giveaways in honor of reaching 400 stores and counting

With the opening of a new Love’s Travel Stop in South Holland, IL, Love’s celebrates surpassing 400 locations. “The company reaches this milestone during a year of tremendous growth,” according to Love’s. “In 2016, Love’s has opened 37 locations and added more than 2,200 truck-parking spaces across 15 states.”

Love’s noted it is on track to round out 2016 by adding 50 new stores, which will be the most locations opened in a single year in Love’s history.

“As we’ve expanded, we’ve tried to step up our level of overall highway hospitality,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “In addition to adding more stores, we’ve also looked at other ways we can help our Customers. That evaluation has resulted in expanding our tire care services, offering factoring services, a growing hotel business and more. Reaching 400 locations is just one of many more milestones we hope to achieve.”

Love’s is celebrating surpassing the 400 mark by giving customers opportunities to win My Love Rewards points, Michelin steer tires and Love’s gift cards. Starting today, 100 My Love Rewards members will win $400 worth of points. Customers swipe their loyalty cards at any Love’s location to find out if they are one of 25 winners who will randomly be selected to win each week. My Love Rewards members can also swipe their cards at any Love’s store to be entered into a drawing to win one of four sets of Michelin steer tires. Love’s Customers who show how they’re celebrating 400 locations on Love’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts using the #Loves400 hashtag are eligible to win one of four $100 Love’s gift cards. The giveaways run through December 10.

“We’ve come a long way from our first filling station in Oklahoma in 1964, to now having more than 400 stores in 40 states,” said Love. “We wouldn’t have experienced such growth without our loyal Customers and we’re honored to serve them with ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ nationwide. We’ll keep looking for new ways, and new locations, to serve them.”

Love’s new store in South Holland, IL, located at Interstate 94, Exit 73B, is open 24/7. It offers gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items and a Hardee’s restaurant. It also features 88 truck-parking spaces, seven showers, a Love’s Truck Tire Care facility and other driver services.
