Brenner Tank expands production in Indiana

June 17, 2014

Brenner Tank, a manufacturer of chemical tank trailers and part of Wabash National Corp.’s Walker Group division, has expanded production to Wabash National’s facilities in Lafayette, IN.

“By leveraging our North American manufacturing footprint, we can provide customers with greater access to our broad portfolio of leading-brand tank trailer products,” said Mark Weber, senior vice president and president of the Diversified Products Group at Wabash National. “Expanding Brenner’s technology, manufacturing processes and expertise to our Lafayette campus will help accelerate growth and enhance customer access in key tank markets.”

Brenner Tank, with primary manufacturing in Fond du Lac, WI, has an extensive line of aluminum and stainless steel tank trailers to meet a wide array of needs in the chemical and petroleum markets. The Lafayette operations will continue to expand that product offering to include the manufacture of carbon steel tanks, as well as providing dedicated FRP tank trailer capacity. In addition, the Lafayette facility will produce aluminum tank trailers and expand Wabash National’s truck mounted equipment offerings.

“The expanded manufacturing footprint makes it easier for customers to own Brenner Tank trailers,” said Jim Miller, vice president of sales and marketing at Walker Group. “We’ve also been enhancing our customer support network throughout the United States to provide an even greater level of service our customers expect.”
