Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions (BBTS) has announced it is adding two sizes to its R250 ED all-position radial tires line. The 255/70R22.5 and 275/70R22.5 tire sizes will now be available at Bridgestone commercial tire dealers and truckstops.

Designed for regional and P&D fleets, the R250ED features sidewall protector ribs for improved performance in severe on-highway, moderate on/off-highway and mixed service.

“The R250 ED is suitable for use by pickup and delivery fleets, moving vans, auto haulers and rural school bus fleets,” said Guy Walenga, director, engineering, commercial products and technologies, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC.  “As these vehicles often experience tight cornering, this tire is designed to provide sidewall protection from twisting, scraping and scrubbing, and tread protection from cutting and chipping.”
