Bridgestone offers new wide-base radial

Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire has introduced the L315, an on/off highway wide base radial designed for long mileage use.

According to the company, the L315 is ideal for axles carrying extra-heavy loads and in situations that require superior traction, such as on dump trucks and oil-field equipment.

The L315 has a 30/32-inch tread depth and the enhanced compound fights heat build-up at sustained speeds up to 65 mph, the company said.
