Battery maker EnerSys has developed a charger for heavy-duty and commercial batteries that offers both quick charging and continuous trickle charge technology to keep batteries full charged for extended periods.

The single bank Odyssey Ultimizer OMAX-50A-1B charger is engineered to remain connected to a heavy-duty battery indefinitely without causing any damage, according to EnerSys.

The charger is UL815G-listed and complies with Part 15 of Federal Communications Commission rules, the company noted.
