Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has expanded its VDO RoadLog ELD vehicle application coverage with additional OBD II installation kits.
Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has expanded its VDO RoadLog ELD vehicle application coverage with additional OBD II installation kits. The new kits cover light- to medium-duty trucks as well as 2014 and up Volvo and Mack vehicles. Continental mentioned it now offers several different VDO RoadLog ELD installation kits to fit a wide variety of the Class 1 through 8 trucks on the road today.VDO RoadLog OBD II Converter Installation Kit (Part No. 3290-90100900) is designed for application on Class 1-6 light and medium duty trucks.“It offers an easy, ‘plug and play’ installation that allows the use of a single VDO RoadLog ELD platform for fleets with a variety of Class 1-6 trucks,” the company said. The VDO RoadLog OBD II 16 pin Y-cable Installation Kit (Part No. 3290-90101100) covers 2014 and up Volvo and Mack trucks with a passenger car style OBD II port. All of the cable kits are supplied with mounting brackets.In addition to the new kits, the VDO RoadLog ELD program also includes the following installation kit options for heavy duty vehicles: 6-pin and 9-pin direct connect, 6-pin and 9-pin Y-cable with plastic nut, 9-pin Y-cable with flange installation, and an open wire direct installation kit.
