Detroit Diesel uses filter change system from ESOC

Detroit Diesel Corp. and ESOC (Environmentally Safe Oil Change) Commercial Truck, Inc. have collaborated to develop an Environmentally Safe Fuel Filter Change system for Detroit Diesel’s DD15 and DD13 engines, the two companies have announced.

According to Detroit Diesel, the ESOC 350 was designed to prime the fuel system after the high-pressure fuel pump replacement occurs and after a fuel filter change, utilizing the fuel from the engine and not requiring an outside source to fill the device with diesel fuel. In addition, the spill-free machine removes hazardous waste clean-up and eliminates the need for technicians to handle the fuel, the company added.
