Fontaine promotes Alan Briley to president of commercial platform business

Oct. 1, 2015

Fontaine Trailer promoted Alan Briley to serve as president of the Fontaine Commercial Platform Business.

Briley joined Fontaine in October 2010 as a regional vice president of sales. His previous experience included nine years at Trailer Sales of TN, five years with Hendrickson and four years at Aero Industries, the company said.

"Alan is a natural fit to our 80/20 organization and innovative culture,” said Hank Prochazka, president of Fontaine Transportation Equipment Group. “He's proven himself by driving ground-breaking marketing efforts, nurturing and further developing a valued dealer network and orchestrating a strong sales team. Alan took on the role of general manager in April of this year and has demonstrated a natural fit into the progression of leading our Haleyville team.”

"I am very honored to be part of this Fontaine team, and I look forward to working closely with the entire Fontaine team developing products and services to support our customer network as we continue to lead the platform industry in technology and innovation," Briley said as he accepted the position.

According to Fontaine, Briley will report directly to Prochazka.
