Mack Shop opens at Allentown Customer Center

Aug. 14, 2013

A new Mack Shop has opened inside the Allentown, PA, Mack Customer Center. The store will carry a full assortment of Mack-branded merchandise.

“As the fourth location in the U.S., the new Mack Shop is a logical expansion for our merchandising business,” said Steve Tercha, Mack director of marketing and brand development. “More than 9,000 people visited the Mack Customer Center and Museum in 2012 alone, and we are excited to be able to meet the demand for Mack merchandise for visitors who love the Mack brand.”

The store is 850 sq. ft. and located at 2402 Lehigh Parkway South. The store offers a selection of Mack merchandise and features an array of collectible historic Mack die-cast models representative of what visitors will see while touring the Mack Museum, the company said.

The Mack Customer Center includes the Mack Museum, which houses an extensive collection of historical documents and artifacts from Mack’s long history as a heavy-duty truck manufacturer. Visitors to the Museum can view a range of vehicles on display representing the evolution of Mack products since 1900.

The Mack Customer Center features a product review center and a test track where customers can test vehicles in real-world applications.

“With the opening of the Mack Shop in Allentown, we can offer a more comprehensive brand experience for Mack customers, dealers and Mack fans who are visiting our Mack Customer Center and Museum,” Tercha said.
