Ingersoll Rand has expanded its Max family of air tools with the new 2145QiMAX Impactool.
The tool weights just 7.4 lbs. while delivering 1,350 lbs.-ft of maximum reverse torque through a 7-vane air motor that the company said is 16% more efficient than its predecessor. It also features a four-position power regulator dial, a feather-touch trigger, and a patented one-hand forward/reverse mechanism for easy operation.
“The 2145QiMAX offers incredible power for its size, and a variety of new features designed to improve productivity,” said Nate Schmid, marketing manager for vehicle services with Ingersoll Rand. “The new impact also features our patented Quiet Technology, which reduces noise levels without compromising best-in-class power performance.”
The device includes an easy-to-clean inlet prescreen that captures debris and is easily serviced by tool operators, along with an improved grease fitting for easy maintenance which reduces down time while increasing tool life and performance, Ingersoll Rand said.
