Dodge offering $1000 upfit allowance

Dodge has announced a $1000 allowance towards the purchase of an upfit body on all 2007, 2008 and 2009 Dodge Sprinter chassis cab models. The program is open to all approved Sprinter dealers nationwide on all upfits valued at over $1500, the company said.

The term program began on June 3 and runs until January 2, 2009. All upfitters must be members of National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), and recreational vehicles, limousines and shuttle buses are excluded, Dodge said.

“In offering this upfit allowance, Dodge is continuing to do its part to lessen the expense of costly body installations for both its upfit partners and commercial customers,” said Pamela Niekamp, senior manager, commercial vehicle marketing and product planning for Dodge.
