A new refrigerated trailer from Great Dane Trailers offers the best it has to offer to increase the useful life of the trailer, according to the company. The new Classic Truckload (CTL) takes advantage of Great Dane-exclusive products like ThermoGuard and CorroGuard to combat deterioration and corrosion.
The trailer includes the CorroGuard with technology by GatorHyde, an exclusive spray-in-place thermoplastic elastomer coating applied to suspensions and support gear to protect the equipment from road abrasion. The ThermoGuard interior lining limits the thermal degradation that occurs with conventional refrigerated linings, the company said.
Because the ThermoGuard reduces liner degradation, operational costs are reduced as the cooling unit runs less and thereby uses less fuel, Great Dane said.
