Haldex unveils rivet-less covers for brake adjusters

New rivet-less front and rear covers for self setting automatic brake adjusters (S-ABA) from Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems offer correct fit with easy installation, improved performance, and extended service life, Haldex said.

The covers have replaced the retaining rivet with rivet-less covers using adhesive compound. The compound also offers enhanced sealing and improved tamper resistance, the company said. The rear cover has a unique grease relief which creates a designed path for grease flow.

Optimum brake adjustment helps prevent uneven tire and brake wear, reducing operating expenses and downtime costs.
