Meritor will continue to distribute the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) through a renewal of a strategic alliance with Pressure Systems International (PSI).
MTIS by PSI, an automatic tire inflation system, has over 350,000 units in North America, Meritor said.
Under terms of the agreement, Meritor will be the exclusive distributor of new and retrofit installation kits. Pressure Systems International retains all responsibility for design and manufacture of the system, including ThermAlert technology, a high temperature notification system available on all MTIS kits.
