Yokohama Tire Corp. will institute price increases up to 10% for all its off-the-road tires, effective May 1. The company said there will also be in-line adjustments announced at a later date.

Raw material costs as well as increasing transportation and manufacturing costs are the reasons for the increases, Gary Nash, vice president, OTR sales, said.

“We do our best to integrate our operational efficiencies, technology and environmental procedures to produce the best OTR tires at competitive prices. The increasing costs, unfortunately, must be reflected in our product pricing,” Nash said.
