CJ-4 from ConocoPhillips

ConocoPhillips Co. has introduced a premium, synthetic blend diesel engine oil, Guardol ECT, which was created to meet the CJ-4 standard for lubricants used in EPA-'07-compliant engines. Guardol ECT (emissions compatible technology) is backward-compatible, which means it can be used in pre-'07 engines as well.

Beginning this fall, the new oil will be available under the Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76 Lubricants brands.
