ArvinMeritor's Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) business unit is bolstering its customer support services, including troubleshooting and training, through a re-vamped field organization. According to Tom Gosnell, CVS president, “By adding new regions and increasing the number of territories, while decreasing their physical size, these customer-focused moves will create more frequent direct contact with each customer.”

Two new area directors have been appointed: Rick Decaire (East) and John Hinesley (West). Customer service has been broken down into six regions: Southeast, Northeast, Southwest, West, Midwest and Canada.

In addition, the company has completed the rollout of its OnTrac computerized call center to fleets and dealers. Fleets should call the DriveTrain Plus Customer Service Center at 800-535-5560 and dealers should call the OnTrac Call Center at 866-668-7221.
