Kohler Power Systems has selected Dometic Environmental Corp. as the supplier of air-conditioning components for its new auxiliary power unit (APU).

Kohler Power Systems has selected Dometic Environmental Corp. as the supplier of air-conditioning components for its new auxiliary power unit (APU).

Kohler's integrated non-idling cab comfort package consists of a 5 kW siderail-mounted air-cooled diesel generator and a Dometic 115 V air-conditioning and heating system.

The compact, self-contained APU weighs less than 350 lb. and features a direct-drive alternator design for higher reliability and lower maintenance, according to Kohler. The oil service interval is 500 hours.
