Ultra-wide container

Wabash National Corp. recently introduced a domestic container version of its DuraPlate dry van. The DuraPlate CargoMax has additional interior width, enabling intermodal carriers to “pinwheel” pallets in the cargo area and thus increase capacity.

The trailer maker's signature DuraPlate panels are used in the sidewalls, nose and doors, providing reduced weight as well as strength and durability, according to Wabash.
