Warm on the inside

Teleflex Power Systems has introduced a line of auxiliary cab heaters for heavy-duty trucks that work without running the vehicle's primary engine, thus reducing the fuel needed to power them by 95%.

The diesel-powered Proheat Air heaters are available in 2kW and 4 kW models.

A digital-display control panel mounted inside the cab enables drivers to easily adjust heat settings. The panel also features a timer so the unit can be set to warm the cab in time for the driver's arrival.

Proheat Air heaters will be distributed by the Carrier Transicold truck/trailer dealer network.
