Penray has introduced the POW-R Performance diesel fuel enhancer, designed to protect against problems associated with ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD). The product, which is designed for heavy duty fleets, provides a boost to cetane, adds lubricity, cleans engines, and increases fuel performance, the company said.

“While ultra low sulfur diesel will help reduce emissions, it also leads to many more consequences in vehicles,” said Joel Gresmer, national sales manager. “The most obvious problems are higher fuel costs, lower lubricity, and lower BTUs, which means less energy and power, lower mileage, less stable fuel and more deposits in the fuel system. Penray’s new POW-R Performance diesel fuel enhancer provides the solution.”

The diesel fuel enhancer is ULSD-compliant, containing less than 15 ppm sulfur.
