Penske Truck Leasing opens Maryland collision repair center

March 12, 2012

Penske Truck Leasing has opened a truck collision repair center in Annapolis Junction, Md., offering collision, box and trailer repairs, complete vehicle refinishing, and frame and alignment work for commercial trucks and vehicles.

“The facility serves the needs of Penske’s own truck fleet and contract customers, as well as commercial truck fleets,” said James Svaasand, general manager of business ventures for Penske Truck Leasing.

The 15,500-sq.-ft. building is housed on 5.2 acres and contains a high-efficiency paint spray booth that greatly filters emissions. This booth employs smart technology that minimizes energy and fuel consumption, housing a high-tech air filtration system.

“Prior to opening this Annapolis Junction collision repair center, Penske vehicles, and our customer’s vehicles, were being serviced from our repair centers in Pennsylvania and North Carolina,” said Jack Gallagher, senior vice president - Northeast Region, Penske Truck Leasing. “Now, we are in the perfect position to attain new business in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., areas.”

This facility is Penske’s 17th collision repair center in North America and is located at 8820 Corridor Road. It is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please call 301-490-9150.
