Peterson launches submersible LED trailer light kit

July 25, 2016
Peterson Manufacturing released new 844 Series Submersible Trailer Lights with a combination LED Stop/Turn/Tail/Clearance/Sidemarker light.

Peterson Manufacturing’s new 844 Series Submersible Trailer Lights comprise a combination LED Stop/Turn/Tail/Clearance/Sidemarker light for all trailers under and over 80" wide.

The kits (model V944) include the 844 and 844L (license light) LED lights plus 25' trailer harness, license bracket, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. In addition to the full kits, individual V844 and V844L replacement lights are also available in Peterson’s Viz Packs. The M844 and M844L replacement lights are available in manufacturer packs, as well as replacement lenses.

“A special design feature of the 844 Series lights is that front and side lenses are replaceable—a cost-saving advantage not offered by most submersible LED trailer lights,” the company said. “Peterson engineered a unique inner lens that maintains the sealed protection of internal components should an outer lens be damaged. This allows owners to safely replace just the outer lens instead of the entire light.”

Peterson project engineer John Hansen said: “Our 844 Series is the next step forward in trailer lighting: Advanced engineering and forward thinking combine to produce this next-gen LED trailer light—and made here in the U.S.”
