Search for shocks with your smartphone

June 13, 2012

A new smartphone part searching site makes locating the proper commercial truck, trailer or bus shocks easier. The mobile part search tool, from Gabriel, works just like the company’s full website search, allowing customers to search by make, series, OEM, Gabriel part number, or competitor part number.

“No one comes close to Gabriel’s commercial OE replacement coverage as it exceeds the closest competitor by 43%,” said Lisa Bahash, president & CEO. “With new parts being introduced all the time, the Gabriel heavy-duty mobile part search is another way Gabriel  conveniently provides customers with the most current product information where and when they need it.”

The search tool is available by accessing Gabriel.com from most smartphones. Results with photos are available, showing the Gabriel Fleetline and Gabriel GasSLX premium gas-cell design upgrade products, where available. With a second click on the selected item, a detailed product description with specifications, mounting information, and “where used” listings appear.

Gabriel Fleetline is a direct OE replacement shock for heavy-duty trucks, trailers or buses, and is also offered as a cab shock. GasSLX, a premium upgrade to the OE and OE replacement options, is a three position adjustable shock absorber with industry leading gas-cell design. Gabriel is one of the only suppliers in the marketplace to offer this.
