Wabash National adds dealer

June 27, 2014

Wabash National Corp. has announced that Prime Trailer is now part of its dealer network.

Prime became a full-service trailer dealer in May with the acquisition of OnRamp Trailer Services.

The company is now authorized to sell and service Wabash National dry van trailers, refrigerated trailers, and Transcraft and Benson brand platform trailers in Utah and Nevada.

“Prime Trailer has extensive expertise in the business of providing effective transportation solutions to its customer base,” said Todd Chrzan, director of van sales for Commercial Trailer Products at Wabash National. “We are pleased to welcome Prime Trailer to the team as we enhance our coverage in the Western United States and continue to expand and elevate our dealer network to provide the level of support our customers expect.”

Prime Trailer, which began in the rental and leasing of semi-trailers, has more than 30 years of experience in the semi-trailer business and the transportation industry. The company plans to add a fleet trailer leasing program, Wabash said.

“We are very excited to represent Wabash National in the Utah and Nevada markets,” said Wes Gardner, chief executive officer and owner of Prime Trailer. “We plan on working hard to combine our semi-trailer rental and sales experience with our Wabash dealership, resulting in selling more new trailers, obtaining additional trade-ins, and supporting our customers by providing parts and service. The differentiation Prime offers is excellent overall value, high reliability and we pride ourselves on being easy to do business with.”
