Work truck light offers flexible vehicle placement

Oct. 5, 2012

A new light for vocational and work trucks is designed to provide flexible placement options on vehicles. The Cube 2500, a 2,500-lumen LED work lamp is part of Grote Industries’ Trilliant line.

Available in both flood and wide flood lighting patterns, the Cube 2500 includes both AMP Superseal and Deutsch connectors.

“This next generation of our basic Cube configuration provides OEM designers ease of placement virtually anywhere on vocational and work-related vehicles, including tow motor, agricultural and construction, mining, refuse, and container equipment. Its 6-LED design outperforms lamps twice its size and adds a more powerful option to Grote’s original Cube 1000,” said Russell Ong, Grote business development manager.

The lamp’s compact 6-LED package is sized 4 in. wide by 5 in. high (including mounting hardware) by 3 in. deep.

It has an SAE J575E-compliant leak-proof sealed design certified IP69K and stands up to scratches, pressure washing, and harsh weather, Grote said. A strong, die-cast aluminum housing protects it from shock and workplace abuse.
