Bill Gordon has been promoted to global vice president of truck sales at Bergstrom. Gordon, who has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, has served as Bergstrom’s vice president-Aftermarket & NITE sales since 2011.
Gordon will be responsible for all truck-related activities including OEM, OES, aftermarket strategic pricing, as well as further developing global aftermarket opportunities for Bergstrom, the company said.
“Our truck customers are rapidly becoming global with operations in all the countries that Bergstrom has plants, joint ventures, or partners,” said Jack Shaffer, president & CEO. “Bill is a talented salesman who recognizes the huge opportunities in the marketplace and will help continue to grow this company.”
Gordon previously led international sales for Bergstrom’s NITE system, directing overall marketing and branding efforts for the company, as well as overseeing continuous improvements in customer service.
He is a member of the Maintenance Council/American Trucking Association, Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) and Antique Outboard Motor Club (AOMC). He is also former Chairman of the Heavy Duty Marketing and Sales Forum.
