LAS VEGAS. Dan England, chairman of C.R. England, Inc., received the Past Chairmen’s award here at the annual 2016 Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) convention.
The Past Chairmen's award is TCA’s highest honor and is given to those who have made a significant contribution to the business community, the trucking industry, and the organization.
TCA stressed that, contrary to the title of the award, the recipient does not have to be a past chairman of the association, though England did serve a stint as TCA chairman from 1997-98.
During his tenure at C.R. England, Dan has developed relationships with various community programs such as the Utah Food Bank Services, Granite Education Foundation, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
His community service portfolio includes membership on the Select Health Board of Trustees and the board of Intermountain Donor Services. He also currently serves on the National Advisory Boards of the University of Utah and the David Eccles School of Business.
