June 28, 2013

Dual-fuel system provider EcoDual has named Mike Donoughe president and CEO.

Donoughe was most recently COO of Bright Automotive. He was also executive vice president of Tesla and held management roles at Chrysler. He is a principal of Third Shore Group, which is focused on commercialization of technologies for start-up to mid-sized firms. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for SINOEV Technologies and SensorComm Technologies as well as on the advisory boards for BRD Motorcycles and Sight Machine, Inc.

“We are excited and thrilled to make this announcement. Mike’s track record speaks for itself,” said Tony Rimas, board member of EcoDual and managing partner at Fraser McCombs Capital. “Throughout his career, Mike has successfully led new product launches and teams. Tesla, Bright Automotive and SINOEV are great examples of Mike’s understanding of what it takes to bring disruptive products to market. Mike’s character, work ethic and leadership approach will contribute greatly to EcoDual’s success.”

“It’s a privilege to be joining the EcoDual team at such an important time in the company's development,” said Donoughe. “EcoDual has established itself as an industry leader in the dual fuel systems market. This market plays an important role in the future of transportation – domestically and internationally. By dramatically lowering operators’ costs and emissions, EcoDual’s systems enable the integration of natural gas into the transportation fuel market. I’m looking forward to working with the EcoDual team to create and deliver significant value for its customers.”
