Trucker Buddy has named Randy Perry, fleet safety manager with Frito-Lay Corp., to its board of directors.

Perry has been with Frito-Lay for 32 years, serving in a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in sales, operations and safety. Currently, he has responsibility for the East Division of Frito-Lay’s fleet safety activities.

“Randy Perry will be an excellent addition to our board.  His tremendous experience in the area of safety, as well as his overall understanding of the trucking industry will make him a valuable asset for Trucker Buddy and help us expand our mission teaching driving safety to all students,” said Trucker Buddy Executive Director Randy Schwartzenburg.

“I am proud to be associated with such a fine organization as Trucker Buddy,” said Perry. “It’s great to be involved with an organization that promotes the mission of helping educate our schoolchildren and promoting a positive image of the trucking industry.”
