Giti Tire makes management changes

July 25, 2014

Giti Tire (USA) has made several changes to its senior management team, including naming Patrick Gunn director of sales and marketing-commercial tires.

The company also named Armand Allaire, who joined Giti last December as vice president of marketing, executive vice president of sales and marketing; and longtime Giti Tire executive Tom McNamara has been named executive vice president of business development.  McNamara had been serving as executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Gunn has extensive experience in the sales and marketing of medium/heavy truck tires, as well as off-highway tires and retreading operations, the company said.

“We have introduced many outstanding products and have had much success in the North American marketplace, but our journey has just started,” said Enki Tan, executive chairman of the Giti Tire Group.  “With our new organizational structure, we have all the conditions in place to deliver the best value proposition to our customers, to continue to grow responsibly and build a world-class company and culture for Giti’s long-term success in North America.”
