Attendees of last month’s Detroit Auto Show were grabbed by the eyes and the ears by this disco-on-wheels—a “DJ Van” conversion of the new Mercedes-Benz Metris by RENNtech. The unique “midsize” commercial van is slated to be rolled out here this year in cargo and passenger versions.

Mercedes-Benz has stated that the Metris will be “positioned in a lower price and smaller-size segment than the full-size Sprinter.” Given that “just-the-right-size” marketing slant, perhaps the OEM might hire Goldilocks to apply her exacting taste to a nicely homespun conversion of its new ride.
