Polar names director of materials

Polar Tank Trailer has named a new director of materials, responsible for the planning, master scheduling, and inventory optimization for the company’s manufacturing operations in Opole and Holdingford, MN.

Jim Bach brings nearly 17 years of senior management experience in forecasting, demand planning, materials handling, distribution and quality within the medical device industry, the company said.

“Jim’s role is vital to our efficiency, productivity, and ability to meet customer demand,” said Jim Painter, president of Polar Tank Trailer. “His extensive background in manufacturing and materials management makes him ideally suited to this job.”

Polar Tank Trailer designs and builds aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel tank trailers for bulk cargoes, including oil and fuel, food products, asphalt, chemicals and corrosives.
