Road closures in downtown Chicago this weekend

Road closures in downtown Chicago in conjunction with the Taste of Chicago food festival will be effect through the weekend and into Monday morning, spanning much of the Grant Park area and potentially creating weekend backups on the Edens Expressway, according to NBC News Chicago.

East Jackson Drive is closed from South Lake Shore Drive to South Michigan Avenue, and South Columbus Drive is closed from Roosevelt Road to East Monroe for the duration of the festival, which runs Wednesday through Sunday.

East Congress Parkway is also closed between South Michigan Avenue and South Columbus Drive.
