Employees of Mack Trucks honored fallen or missing members of the U.S. Armed forces during the “Rollin Thunder Ride for Freedom” rally held over Memorial Day weekend. Workers from the Mack Customer Center and Macungie Assembly operations, both located in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, caravanned to Hagerstown, MD, for a memorial ceremony at the company’s powertrain plant.
Following the ceremony, Lehigh Valley and Hagerstown employees traveled by truck and motorcycle to Washington, D.C., to join thousands of participants for the 25th annual rally.
The OEM’s “tribute truck” for this year’s event was a Pinnacle axle-forward model honoring the sacrifices of American military personnel and promoting the Wounded Warrior Project.
