Schneider National offering $5,000 sign-on bonus for tank drivers

Sept. 24, 2013

Schneider National Bulk Carriers is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($10,000 for teams) for experienced drivers who join the company. Opportunities exist in the Midwest, South and Northeast, the company said.

Drivers wishing to relocate for a job are eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus and $2,000 relocation allowance. Opportunities also exist for recent driving school graduates as well.

“Our reputation as the best chemical hauler in the country gets stronger every year,” said George Grossardt, vice president and general manager, Schneider National Bulk Carriers. “Couple that with the solid growth of the chemical industry, and it’s no surprise that our need for more drivers grows too. We are excited to grow our business and provide more stable, well-paying jobs for professional drivers.”

According to the company, drivers can pick which six days they want off each month and Schneider will accommodate those date preferences. Experienced drivers can earn over $60,000 in their first year, Schneider said.

The sign-on bonus will be offered for a limited time only. Drivers interested in applying or learning more can visit www.schneiderjobs.com or call 800-44-PRIDE (800-447-7433).
