Wabash hires new tank trailers team members

Wabash National announced that it has welcomed two new members to its Wabash Tank Trailers team.

Wabash National announced that it has welcomed two new members to its Wabash Tank Trailers team.

Dave Hill has joined Wabash National as vice president and general manager, Wabash Tank Trailers, the company announced.

“He will be lead the strategic growth for Wabash National’s market-leading Beall, Brenner, Bulk and Walker tank trailer brands, which are manufactured in Fond du Lac and New Lisbon, Wisconsin; Portland, Oregon; and San José Iturbide, Mexico,” according to the company.

Prior to joining Wabash National, Hill served as general manager at Knapheide Truck Equipment Company, where he was responsible for production and upfitting of more than 5,000 trucks annually, Wabash noted. He has spent the majority of his career working for some of the top heavy equipment and industrial companies, including Oshkosh Truck, Case New Holland (CNH), and General Motors, the company added.

In addition, Jay Morfitt has joined Wabash National as director of business development and strategy, Wabash Tank Trailers. According to the company, he will continue to drive the integration of Wabash National’s tank trailer brands and the implementation of a global customer service team as part of the company’s ERP implementation.

According to Wabash, Morfitt brings an extensive background in sales, marketing, and business development from companies and brands such as Maytag and Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex. Most recently, he served as director of strategic planning and marketing for Heil Trailer International/EnTrans International.
