Diesel down another nickel this week

For the 11th week, diesel prices across the U.S. have slipped. This week, average U.S. diesel prices dropped 5.1 cents to $2.617, according to the EIA.
For the 11th consecutive week, diesel prices across the U.S. have slipped. This week, average U.S. diesel prices dropped 5.1 cents to $2.617 from last week’s $2.668, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA).This week diesel is $1.226 per gallon cheaper compared to the same week last year.Diesel prices decreased in every region, with all regions under the $3 per gallon mark. California saw the most significant price drop this week – down 6.4 cents to $2.960.Average U.S. retail pump prices for gasoline also decreased this week, according to EIA. Gas prices are down 6 cents to $2.629 per gallon. According to EIA, that is 87.6 cents cheaper compared to the same week last year.Gasoline prices were down across the board this week. And, similar to last week, only the West Coast and West Coast without California regions saw prices over $3 per gallon – at $3.361 and $3.009, respectively.
