Navistar’s electric-vehicle expert to keynote NAFA’s I&E

Shane Terblanche, vp & gm of Navistar Electric Vehicles since 2009, will be the keynote speaker at the 2011 Institute & Expo in Charlotte, NC. Terblanche will speak at NAFA Fleet Management’s event on Sunday, April 10.

Terblanche has led Navistar’s electric-vehicle efforts, which has produced the eStar, the first electric-vehicle built as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

He will join Don Esmond, senior vp of automotive operations for Toyota, as keynotes for the 2011 I&E. Esmond’s address is scheduled for Monday, April 11.

The I&E event will be held April 9-12 at the Charlotte Convention Center.
