Ford Motor Co. will sell diesel emissions fluid (DEF) supplied by Terra Environmental Technologies (TET)under its Motorcraft brand name. DEF is required for all new diesel engines using selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to meet Federal EPA 2010 emissions standards.

The automaker has also said that it will factory-fill all new diesel-engine models with DEF from TET.  Earlier this year Ford announced that it will introduce a new V8 diesel with SCR this Spring as an option in 2011 F-Series Super Duty trucks.

TET is a subsidiary of Terra Industries Inc. created to manufacture and distribute DEF and other nitrogen products used to control NOx emissions from diesel engines and power plants.
