KW hybrid at beverage ride and drive

Kenworth Truck Co. will make available one of its Class 7 T370 diesel-electric hybrid tractors to attendees of a special ride-and- drive event being held at the BevOps/Beverage Fleet Summit in Tampa next Tuesday.

The T370, available with up to 55,000-lb GCW rating,  is designed to serve local haul applications, including beverage, general freight, and grocery distribution. It will be available for rides and drives at the 4th annual Beverage Fleet Ride and Drive and Equipment Demo on April 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. According to show organizers, the event is the only such “hands-on demo in the beverage industry.”
