Volvo Trucks North America is taking its green campaign to the web. By clicking on the “VTNA and the Environment” tab on www.volvotrucks.us.com, users can view “Volvo Trucks & Environmental Care,” Volvo's commitment to the environment, and also highlights its 2010 Clean Diesel Solution. The site details Volvo's facilities, operations and products and how they “embody its core value of environmental care and what this means for customers, employees and society,” the company said.

The site explains in detail how SCR works with the company's other technologies to provide a fuel-efficient approach to reducing emissions. Other major sections of the web site include trucks, components and features, facilities, and Volvo trucks in society. There is also a podcast explaining SCR technology.

An interactive emissions calculator lets visitors find out how much pollution is eliminated by the emissions technologies Volvo uses now — and how much more will be eliminated when Volvo's SCR-equipped trucks go into service in 2010.
