A new series of software templates from Pegasus TransTech will simplify and speed the implementation of the company’s Transflo Workflow 2010 solutions across multiple platforms.

The Transflo Workflow Library templates are designed to expedite driver payroll, logistics, and maintenance as well as driver qualification and hiring. Additional templates, including safety department and detention, are in development, Pegasus said.

“Workflow Library is designed to assist business analysts and IT departments in the timely deployment of highly effective workflow solutions required by management,” said Bob Helms, Pegasus TransTech CEO & chairman. “Using best practices and considerable input from our customers over the past 10 years, these tools meet the demands of fleets that need improved operating results now.”

The templates allow the seamless installation of Workflow 2010, a software solution that allows fleets to tie different systems together across platforms and departments. According to Pegasus, Workflow differs from off-the-shelf software that utilizes a generic, one-size-fits-all approach by extending, enhancing, reporting, and monitoring, on systems already in place.

Utilizing Workflow allows a fleet to integrate systems that handle approvals, exceptions, decision-making, reporting, and communications and optimizes the overall process of information gathering, thereby reducing costs, increasing accuracy, and improving speed of service.
