PeopleNet introduces new application, solutions group

PeopleNet has introduced the BLU In-Cab Application Platform (BLU ICAP), allowing individual fleets to customize PeopleNet’s BLU using an Application Programming Interface (API) in Microsoft .NET framework, the company said.

The company also announced the launch of the Tailored Solutions group. According to PeopleNet, Tailored Solutions will work with fleet customers to develop customized solutions for both in-cab applications and back-office functions. Randy Boyles has been named vp of the group.

“Tailored Solutions will smartly tailor applications to meet the very specific requirements of individual fleets, whether those applications run on BLU in the truck cab, through PeopleNet’s g3 Services for back office integration or any combination,” Boyles said.

PeopleNet was also awarded the 2007 North American Regional Fleet Telematics Growth Strategy Leadership of the Year Award by Frost & Sullivan, given to a company that demonstrates an exception growth strategy within its industry.
