The new street routing database from Tele Atlas carries on that tradition with the introduction of its Tele Atlas/Logistics street routing database for the U.S. and Canada that includes details such as road restrictions and bridge clearances along with more than seven million miles of roads, 19 categories of restrictions (including hazardous materials restrictions), and truck-preferred/truck-restricted routes.

Tele Atlas introduced its newest product at the ATA Management Conference & Exhibition in Boston on October 17 along with a new Tele Atlas customer - mobile communications giant, Qualcomm, Inc. According to the companies, Qualcomm will deploy the Tele Atlas Dynamap/Transportation and Logistics databases to enhance its line of platforms, applications and services for the transportation and logistics and construction equipment industries, including the upcoming OmniVision mobile computing platform.
