However, working with Teletouch Communications Inc., Transport Continental Inc. has now fitted all 171 flatbed trailers in its fleet with remote tracking systems. Using cellular technology rather than satellite-based location and communications systems, the Teletouch self-contained tracking device is battery powered and can be bolted underneath the trailer floor.
