Trailer Tracking for Maddocks

Software solutions provider Maddocks Systems, Inc. and SkyBitz, a provider of satellite-based asset monitoring and information management services, have announced that Maddocks will use the SkyBitz Global Locating System (GLS) technology to power an advanced Trailer Module for Truckmate. Truckmate is Maddocks' enterprise-wide client server product.

According to a joint announcement from the companies, Maddocks Systems will use the SkyBitz trailer tracking solution to provide customers with improved operational efficiencies, such as alerting the customer if a trailer is misrouted.

Providing real-time information concerning trailer location is intended to help fleet users of the Maddocks System improve asset utilization.
