Smart Scale from TruckWeight Inc. is a wireless onboard weight scale for trucks, tractors and trailers with air suspensions that transmits vehicle weights to a handheld receiver. Producing both axle and gross vehicle weights, it is said to be accurate within 0.3%.

Requiring no cables or external electrical connections, Smart Scale can be installed in a tractor-trailer combination within 30 min., according to TruckWeight. The wireless sensors are in waterproof housings and require no regular maintenance beyond replacing their AA batteries, which are said to last between eight and 12 months in regular use.
