Delco Remy America will market Xantrex Technology inverters under a co-brand to the heavy-duty truck aftermarket in North America. The Delco Remy/Xantrex inverters, which operate from a vehicle's batteries or alternator, convert DC current into AC power electronically. The line of inverters will range from 150 watts to 1,750 continuous-watt power. Unitized aluminum hubs from ConMet will be available on Hendrickson's AIRTEK integrated front axle and air suspension system early this summer. The company says it's a first for the North American market.

Haldex has introduced two new air dryers: DRYest and PURest. The DRYest includes an integrated turbo protection valve to prevent horsepower loss and improve fuel efficiency; it is described as ideal for system-purge applications. The PURest replaces the Pure Air Plus dryer and uses an integrated purge volume that eliminates the need for a separate purge tank.

Landa now offers a fully automated, self-contained washwater recycling system that is “virtually” maintenance-free. Model CLP-7034 backwashes filters, polishes standing water at night and dumps collected solids on a regular basis. New filter media removes solids down to 30 microns.

Peterbilt Motors Co. has added two new options to its TruckCare maintenance plan. Customized Preventive Maintenance is designed for fleets that have their own maintenance facilities, but also want to outsource some services.
