Delco Remy America will market Xantrex Technology inverters under a co-brand to the heavy-duty truck aftermarket in North America. The Delco Remy/Xantrex inverters, which operate from a vehicle's batteries or alternator, convert DC current into AC power electronically. The line of inverters will range from 150 watts to 1,750 continuous-watt power. Haldex has introduced two new air dryers: DRYest and PURest. The DRYest includes an integrated turbo protection valve to prevent horsepower loss and improve fuel efficiency; it is described as ideal for system-purge applications. The PURest replaces the Pure Air Plus dryer and uses an integrated purge volume that eliminates the need for a separate purge tank.
